We want your tree to thrive—and we’re here to help make that happen. For peace of mind, we offer a one-year limited warranty on our trees, with a few straightforward terms depending on how your tree is delivered and installed.

Warranty Coverage

  • Trees Delivered (Not Installed by Us)
    • First 30 days: 100% credit based on the original purchase price
    • Day 31 through 1 year: 50% credit based on the original purchase price
  • Trees Delivered & Installed by The Community Nursery
    • Covered for one (1) year from the date of purchase
    • Includes a 66% credit of the total purchase price, including installation

Important Notes

  • Warranty is valid from the date of purchase
  • Credit only — we do not offer cash refunds
  • Warranty is non-transferable
  • Replacement or credit is based on the original purchase price

What’s Required

To keep your warranty valid, proper care is essential:

  • Follow recommended planting and care guidelines
  • Water consistently, especially during the first growing season
  • Maintain proper mulch and planting conditions
  • Ensure the tree is planted in an appropriate location (sunlight, drainage, spacing)

What’s Not Covered

We can’t cover issues caused by factors outside our control, including:

  • Improper watering or general neglect
  • Damage from animals, equipment, or construction
  • Severe weather (drought, flooding, wind, ice, etc.)
  • Transplanting or moving the tree after planting

If You Need to Make a Claim

  1. Contact us within the warranty period
  2. Provide photos of the tree and surrounding area
  3. Share details about care and watering

Approved claims will be issued as a store credit based on the terms above.
